Encore Trucking is ideally situated in Edmonton and equipped to load, store and deliver loads throughout the city (and all of Alberta). We have a convenient, large (7 acres) yard, that is gated, fenced, lit and secure, on the East side of Edmonton. It is located just off the Yellowhead, or Hwy 16 at this point; at the intersection of Sherwood Drive and the Yellowhead. It is easy to get to and visible from the highway. It is also conveniently located just a short distance from the Anthony Henday. We have offloading and reloading capabilities, both with forklift or crane. We have forklifts up to 12,000 lbs, and boom trucks from 2 ton to 60 ton (straight booms and knuckle booms). We handle so many containers that we have had to buy special hooks that lock in the bottom pockets, just to speed things up; and it’s a lot safer than climbing up top to rig. We usually have 8 to 10 stored in our yard awaiting a later delivery. In the yard, with the large cranes available, we are able to offload and reload even the heaviest of sea-cans.
