PICKER TRUCKS
We have a diverse fleet of picker trucks that include straight booms and knuckle booms. Each of our unit’s design is carefully thought out and planned to accommodate specific lifting conditions. With varying sizes of picker trucks and trailers, we have the equipment and experience to work out any project that comes our way. Encore has the largest capacity truck-mounted cranes in Western Canada. Often we are able to do many lifts that a full size crane can but at a fraction of the cost. STRAIGHT BOOM
We have a number of straight boom units in our fleet. These units are ideal for heavy and high loads such as air conditioning units, roofing materials, signs, poles, trusses, etc. We can accommodate manbasket work over 160′. We also have jibs available for that extra reach when it is needed.
KNUCKLE BOOM
Our knuckle boom pickers are the biggest in Western Canada. When there is a problem with tight space and limited headroom, our articulating knuckle booms are the solution. With up to a 50 ton, a lifting cap of 40,000 pounds and a total reach up to 85′, our knuckles can solve any lift within their capacities. As with our straight booms, our knuckle booms also have jib add-ons. These jibs are tools which are added to the end of our knuckles to change lift angles, allowing access to tight spots. TRAILERS
In addition to our picker fleet, we have a number of trailers for hauling. Whatever you need to move, we can do it. We have numerous low-boys, hi-boys, pintle hitches and trombone trailers available in varying sizes to accommodate all hauls.
JACK and ROLL
Often, old compressors, ac units, pump, etc. are tucked away in a corner and impossible to reach with any type of crane. This is where our jack and roll service comes in. Using steel skates and hydraulic jacks of varying sizes (depending on the pick size), our team can maneuver the lift item into a spot where it can be accessed more easily. Combining this service with our reverse knuckle jib allows us to pull almost any unit out from inside a building, shed, pump station, etc.

CONFINED SPACE JIBS
Our confined space jibs allow us to access environments that other cranes cannot. These engineered additions are a huge advantage for interior and low profile lifts. They come in handy when installing loads near ceilings or inside doorways. The crane itself can set up outside the building and extend the boom inside to go under and up. With varying capacities, these jibs are a great way to access engines and compressors in pump stations, transformers and AC units under awnings and basically any other object tucked inside a doorway or building.
TANDEM LIFTS
We often perform lifts with two of our units at the same time. We have done lifts with two straight booms, two knuckle booms, two mini cranes and any combination of the two. Often overall weight is the reason for doing a tandem lift but others include, unevenly weighted objects, flipping a unit around or righting a load. Some of our most unique and toughest lifts have been tandem lifts.
MANBASKET
Our straight booms are able to manbasket work to a distance of just over 160′. Often used for signage or high access, our manbaskets are engineered for safety. We even offer a manbasket for our mini cranes for those indoor applications.
HEAVY, LONG REACH, INDOOR LIFTS
Our combination of equipment and experience gives us the ability to make our clients challenging jobs manageable. With our expertise in interior lifting, where limited headroom is often an issue, we have become proficient in a number of speciality areas. These areas include oil field and gas plant work, hoisting interior cranes, working with escalators, low profile lifting, lifts through doors to access gas compressors, electric motors and engines. Our speciality jibs, custom hooks and expert rigging let us complete that interior lift that others can’t.
